The website design process, step by step.
The website design process moves through discovery, planning, design, development, testing and launch. Each stage ends with a decision, so the next stage starts from something agreed.

What happens in the discovery stage?
Discovery defines who the website is for, what it needs to do and how success is measured.
We look at your customers, your competitors in Bradford and the searches people use to find services like yours.
What is a sitemap and wireframe?
A sitemap is the list of pages and how they connect; a wireframe is a simple layout of what goes on each page.
Agreeing these first means design time is spent on the right pages in the right order.
What happens during visual design?
Visual design applies typography, colour, imagery and spacing to the wireframes.
You review the designs for key pages on both phone and desktop before development begins.
What happens during development and testing?
Development builds the approved designs into a working website; testing checks it on real devices and browsers.
We test forms, links, speed and accessibility, and fix issues before launch.
What happens at launch?
At launch, the website moves to your domain, analytics starts recording and the sitemap is submitted to Google.
We check the live site again after launch and agree any follow-up improvements.
